The Moonsea
"The southern Moonsea region has a reputation for being a harsh environment. The entire region is split with many factions and there is only a pretense of order in most places. In Mulmaster, corruption is rife. Though the Blades rule over the city, they generally ignore most of it other than the High City. Muggers and robbers creep about the alleyways, and Banites and Red Wizards have free reign to walk where they please. The citizens are known to be self-serving and generally unwelcoming to newcomers, unless there is coin involved.
"The serene village of Elmwood is a stark contrast to Mulmaster. It is a small fishing village tucked between the Moonsea and the Cormanthor forest. Life is generally unimpeded there, even by the giant powers that surround the village, because there is nothing worth taking. It is an ideal spot for a traveler who wishes for a rest from the dangers that abound.
"Between these two places lie dangerous roads, woods, and mountains that hold hostile creatures, dungeons, and more. The commoner would shy away from these perils, but for the adventurer, hearing the tales is just one more reason to gather his party and venture forth!"
